Pricing & memberships

Pricing is fixed and shown upfront, from $20 for a medical certificate consult to $49 for a standard consultation. Any medicines and pharmacy costs are separate.

You discuss your concern with a doctor. Where clinically appropriate, one $49 consultation can include a medical certificate, a new or repeat prescription, and pathology or radiology referrals. Medicines and pharmacy costs are separate.

No. You can book a one-off consultation at any time. Memberships are optional. They suit people who want ongoing care for themselves or their household.

Memberships are billed monthly and can be cancelled at any time. What's included depends on the plan you choose. Every consultation under a membership is still a live phone conversation with a doctor, with outcomes provided only where clinically appropriate.

Getting started

Yes. Every service includes a live phone consultation with a qualified Australian doctor. A doctor speaks with you before any certificate, script or referral.

You tell us which part of the day suits you when you book. A doctor calls you and you talk it through by phone. Where it's clinically appropriate, a certificate, prescription or referral is then sent to you digitally.

Yes. You can manage consultations and records for partners, children and parents from one account. Each person needs their own consultation so the doctor can assess each person individually. A parent or guardian books for a child.

A phone with reception, somewhere private to talk, and details of your health and any current medicines. Have your Medicare card handy if you have one.

Clinoraa is for people located in Australia. Adults book for themselves. A parent or guardian can book on behalf of a child or a dependant.

Prescriptions & referrals

Where it's clinically appropriate, your doctor can issue a prescription during your consult. Some medicines, including Schedule 8 and certain restricted Schedule 4 medicines, cannot be prescribed via telehealth. All prescribing decisions remain at the sole discretion of the treating doctor in line with Australian regulations. You can fill any prescription at the pharmacy of your choice.

Where it's clinically appropriate, a doctor can review your existing medication and issue a new or repeat prescription during your consultation. The doctor may ask for more information, or recommend an in-person review first.

If a referral for further care, tests or imaging is clinically appropriate, your doctor can issue it during your consultation and send it to you digitally.

At the pharmacy of your choice. Clinoraa does not tie you to a particular pharmacy. Any medicine and pharmacy costs are separate from your consultation fee.

Consultations & outcomes

Telehealth suits many everyday health needs, but not all. Depending on your circumstances, your doctor may recommend an in-person assessment, urgent care, a GP review, a referral to another doctor, further investigation, or no treatment.

Your doctor tells you, and points you to the right kind of care. That might be an in-person GP visit, pathology, or a hospital. Your consultation is still a clinical assessment when the outcome is care elsewhere.

A certificate, prescription or referral is provided only where your doctor considers it clinically appropriate, and may not be the outcome of your consultation. Every decision rests with the treating doctor.

Privacy & safety

Yes. We handle your personal and health information in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles. You can read the detail in our Privacy Policy.

Your information is used to provide your care. It is shared only where that care needs it, such as with a pharmacy, pathology provider or other practitioner, or where the law requires it. See our Privacy Policy for how this works.

In an emergency, call 000. If you need crisis support at any hour, call Lifeline on 13 11 14. Clinoraa does not provide emergency or urgent care.

You can contact us at [email protected]. Our Terms and Privacy Policy also explain the external bodies you can contact if you'd like to take a concern further.
