General information only

The information on the Clinoraa website is general information only. It is not personal medical advice, a diagnosis, or a recommendation for any treatment. Please do not rely on it in place of a consultation with a qualified health practitioner.

General information cannot take account of your circumstances. Always speak with a doctor about your own health.

A consultation is required

Reading this website does not create a doctor-patient relationship. That relationship begins when you book and take part in a consultation. Every service we provide requires a live phone consultation with a qualified Australian doctor.

We do not assess your health, issue certificates, prescribe medicines or provide referrals based on a form alone.

Health information and evidence

We aim to describe health topics accurately and in balanced terms. Where the evidence is limited or still developing, we say so. We do not claim that any treatment will work for you.

Our website may link to other websites for your convenience. We are not responsible for the content or accuracy of any external website.

Outcomes are not guaranteed

Any outcome, including a certificate, prescription or referral, is a matter for the treating doctor. It is provided only where it is clinically appropriate, and it may not be the outcome of your consultation. Results vary from person to person, and a consultation does not guarantee a particular outcome.

The limits of telehealth

Telehealth is not suitable for all health concerns. Your doctor may recommend an in-person assessment, urgent care, a GP review, a referral to another doctor, further investigation or no treatment. If your concern is not suitable for a phone consultation, your doctor will tell you and help you find appropriate care.

Medicines and prescribing

A prescription is one possible outcome of a consultation, where it is clinically appropriate. Prescribing is at the treating doctor's discretion and follows Australian law. Some medicines cannot be prescribed in a telehealth consultation.

We do not advertise specific prescription medicines to the public, in accordance with Australian regulatory requirements.

In an emergency

Clinoraa does not provide emergency or urgent care. If you have a medical emergency, or you are worried about your immediate safety or someone else's, call 000 straight away. For 24/7 crisis support, call Lifeline on 13 11 14.

Do not wait for a telehealth consultation in an emergency.

Your privacy

We handle your personal and health information in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Please read it to see how your information is collected, used and protected.
